Mask URLs of open social ning apps?

Is it possible for a network owner to convert

http://example.ning.com/opensocial/ningapps/show?appUrl=http%3A%2F%...

 

into

http://example.ning.com/yelp

While still sending the parameters

You could use a URL shortener, but only if the parameters are static.
