Apps for NING

Good Afternoon,

I am new to NING and I joined the build community, I just want you to please help point me in the right directions as to the tools (IDE) to use for development and how to go about it.

 

Here is what i want to do:

 

1. I am not a very good programmer but i can write a little bit of PHP, I use Joomla very often and i want to be able to interoperate joomla and my NING networks, in aspects of Authorizations and sharing of data.

 

2. Please, I want to know how to map a domain "domainname.com" and still have a subdomain for example "abcxyz.domainname.com" hosted on another server.
