Hey guys, just a quick question.
Im using the ning api to grab a user's email and then submit it to my server, however even though this works 90% of the time, randomly I will start getting a 500 Internal server error.
I've checked the error codes and the code 500 relates to authentication, however it doesn't make any sense that it will authenticate 90% of the time and then all of a sudden it will timeout.
Does anybody have any similar issues where the NingApi works sometimes and then sometimes fails ?
Any help would be so greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

I have the same problem: http://build.ning.com/forum/topics/what-is-ning-xauth-client-except....
Today the situation has become rather critical: I got around one hundred exceptions of the kind you mention, in several bursts at around 15.00, 19.30 and 20.00 CET.
I also noticed that while these bursts are being sent back to me, the page relating to the Ning API at http://www.officineinnovazione.it/main/extend/keys is not reacheable.
Thanks for you reply, i'm actually now more convinced that it is an API problem. Just checked out your post and no one seems to have a solution to this problem ?
Have you managed to find a way around it at all ?
Yes, it is probably some malfuction with the Ning API.
No, unfortunately, I have no way around the issue.
I guess I will submit a ticket to support and see what happens. Until yesterday it was a minor problem, occuring only occasionally, but now it has become really painful.
Ah i see, ill give that a go, it has actually been happening for the last couple of weeks, noticed it when i first started testing the API, and I thought it was something to with me testing it locally.
