In the SampleBase. java it has the string variables Test_Consumer_Key, Test_Consumer_Secret, Test_User_Key and Test_User_Secret. Now I have the consumer key and secret, that is given from my network. The question is where to get the user key and secret? I have looked through the documentation, and source code. Still I have not found the answer. When I try to run the test examples and samples I get errors. Even after adding the libraries asked for, into the build.

I'm a Ning Plus user and I'm not familiar with the Ning API. I would like to use an Iframe in the textbox of a group page to provide user-specific content. I have traditionally used javascript but javascript has been disabled on Group page textboxes.

In the textbox, if the Iframe's source is directed to a non-Ning web server, can that server obtain the user's Ning Id and provide content back to the Iframe based on that specific user.

If I upgrade to a Pro plan, is this easily accomplished?

I have read through all the docs and have been experimenting with several aspects of the API. One thing specifically that is neither mentioned in What You Can Do or What You Cannot Do is Albums. Is it possible to GET/CREATE/UPDATE Albums with the API yet?

I have been hoping for a way to add a namespace to the XML of groups on my network for quite sometime, as GeoRSS is an important feature that i wish to fully implement for land surveyors. Here is the scenario: I have dedicated "social support" groups based on locations across the globe, each obviously having their own geolocation and location specific news which is generated via discussions which occur on each group. (For example: Africa Land Surveyors) The idea is based on the fact that land surveyors have different laws in all locations on earth which they must abide by and land surveyors have different methods for accomplishing work results in their respective areas of the world. So with that said, has anyone found a way to convert the discussions RSS feed in groups to a GeoRSS feed? ultimately, I'd like to have a Google Earth file which shows the feed of a location on click with latest news from that group. I've tride Geonames RSS to GeoRSS converter with little progress and have found that the best most probable solution is to alter the native XML and feed which exists in the group itself. If I am off-base on this, please let me know. I've also tried using feedburner to Geotag the feeds from groups (my subscription page here), but due to the fact that the feeds are no longer native after running them through feedburner, subscription to these feeds do nothing for the geocontent in respect to search engines and they are hard to get subscribers for.

So ultimately I would love some advice or even a partner who might be willing to help me develop an open social app which converts these feeds to GeoRSS. I am open to any suggestions you might have.
Ning API bug - GetRecentPhotostag:build.ning.com,2010-10-14:6308082:Topic:2892010-10-14T20:30:24.000ZLee Armstronghttp://build.ning.com/profile/LeeArmstrong

This isn't necessarily an API question, but I was curious... I wanted to add a leaderboard to my Ning site, but I wanted to use the leaderboard for a contest we have based on how many invites you have. I couldn't find a leaderboard that was built for this kind of activity I wanted to do, so I'm guessing that I have to build it?

If someone can point me in the right direction or maybe tell me where I can find a leaderboard to do this, or even just tell me if I should use Opensocial to build this…
